  Southern Prairie Railway is located in beautiful Southern Saskatchewan and showcases the beauty and modesty of the prairies. Opening in the summer of 2012, visitors will be treated to a rail excursion similar to what pioneers of the 1920's would have experienced when arriving in this new and mysterious land.
 Visitors will also have the opportunity to stroll down the Town of Ogema's historic Main Street and visit the British America Gas Station, one of the only remaining corner stations in Western Canada, as well as the Fire Hall, which was built after a great fire in 1915 destroyed much of Main Street.
 And one of the most notable features of the community is the Deep South Pioneer Museum. This pioneer "village" includes 30 historic buildings from Ogema and surrounding communities as well as thousands of operating pieces of antique machinery and artifacts.
 Take a trip into the past with a visit to Ogema and the Southern Prairie Railway.
